** Negotiable depending on direct-related experience UP to $31.25 - $33.65 an hour ($65K - $70K/year)

* Job description:

* The Powertrain Engine OBD Calibration Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing best practice calibration solutions and performing diagnostic verification testing.
** Duties Include** **:*
* + Manage all technical aspects of the OBD diagnostic calibrations to meet CARB regulations
+ Identify system requirements during system hardware design to insure a robust diagnostic system
+ Use standard instrumentation toolsets for data acquisition, storage, and analysis, calibrate diagnostic thresholds to meet CARB regulations
+ Provide regular overview summaries and detailed reports on specific assignments, including timing projections.
** Must-Have Qualifications*
* + Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or related field.
+ 0-3 years of experience (recent graduates with data acquisition experience are encouraged to apply).
** _Experience with:_*
* + MATLAB
+ Simulink
+ Reading and understanding C code/software
+ Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
** Nice-to-Have Qualifications*
* + Data acquisition experience, preferably in an automotive or powertrain-related environment.
** _Experience with:_*
* + INCA
+ ETAS tools
+ Internship, co-op, academic project, or hands-on experience involving data collection, analysis, and reporting.
+ Exposure to powertrain, engine systems, diagnostics, or vehicle testing environments.
