Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Fremont region seeking Applications Engineers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software applications for manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define application requirements and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues in production environments.
• Optimize application performance and efficiency for manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on application usage.
• Document software designs, test plans, and user manuals.
• Implement and maintain software version control and release management.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or field support, preferably within manufacturing.
• Proven ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial equipment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for customer-facing interactions.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) and other engineering tools.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD)
• Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems (PLCs, HMIs)
• Knowledge of data acquisition and analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python)
• Understanding of manufacturing process simulation software
• Experience with vision systems or robotics
