PROJECT MANAGERWATER RESOURCES / SURFACE WATER SERVICE LINE POSITION SUMMARY The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating surface water projects within our stormwater practice area from proposal development through design, delivery, and construction support. This role will manage small to medium-sized projects, including budgeting, scheduling, resource coordination, quality control, client communication, report production, and oversight of project teams. The position requires the ability to prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates;

evaluate and resolve design challenges; coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal team members; and provide technical guidance to engineers, technicians, and support staff. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong project management, organizational, communication, and leadership skills, along with a solid understanding of the AEC project life cycle and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Project management for small to medium size projects including proposals, scheduling, budgeting, resource management, and team member coordination

Design of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for projects

Development and execution of quality control plans in accordance with company standards

Report writing and report production as well as oversight of report writing and report production by subordinates

Coordinates and communicates with team members, clients, contractors, and outside consultants

Make recommendations for additions, deletions, or substitutions when modifications are necessary

Makes periodic visits to construction sites as appropriate to review conditions

Attendance at project meetings, public hearings, and making presentations at interviews for new projects

Maintains a current knowledge base for the work being performed including reading professional publications and occasionally attending professional meetings and seminars
