Parking Enforcement Attendant
Directly reports to the Account Manager. Responsible for performing a variety of facility, garage, and lot supportive functions including customer service, cashiering, flagging, cleaning, lot maintenance, operating and maintaining revenue control equipment, filling out reports, issuing parking citations, and opening and closing booths.
CompensationHourly base pay: $16–$17 per hour plus incentives.

Responsibilities- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, parkers, co‑workers, and clients.
- Patrol and monitor each lot to ensure that only authorized vehicles are parked.
- Enforce lot rules by issuing citations based on pre‑approved guidelines to any non‑paid or time‑expired parkers.
- Manage lot signage, taking down, repairing, and assembling signs.
- Maintain lot cleanliness by picking up trash, cleaning signage, and performing general maintenance.
- Troubleshoot parking meters and equipment when applicable.
- Prepare reports and file paperwork regarding violations and citations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal by shoveling, salting, and operating a snow thrower.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to guests.
- Ability to be trained to operate and maintain revenue control equipment.
- Skilled in maintenance and upkeep of a facility.
- Strong basic math skills and ability to log information quickly and accurately.
- Knowledge of personnel policies and procedures.
- Ability to use a calculator and fee computer.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment with discretion in varying conditions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the public, agencies, and coworkers.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Ability to stand for the length of the shift.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
The role requires frequent standing and walking, occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, and the ability to run, climb stairs, and handle tools. Employees will work outdoors for extended periods and may encounter extreme heat or cold. Voice and hearing are required for regular communication.
