The Opportunity Position

Vice President of Finance, Corporate FP&A

Location:

Rockford, MI 49351 (hybrid)

Purpose of the Role

The Vice President of Finance, Corporate FP&A is a senior enterprise‑ responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting, and analytics across the organization. This individual will serve as a strategic thought partner to the CFO, CEO, and executive leadership team, providing insight‑driven analysis to support decision‑making, capital allocation, and long‑range planning.

The role requires a highly analytical, collaborative leader with deep experience in complex financial modeling, executive‑level storytelling, and cross‑functional partnership in a global environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the enterprise strategic planning process, annual operating plan, and quarterly forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment with long‑term objectives.
  • Deliver high‑impact performance analysis and actionable insights to senior leadership, including the CFO, CEO, and executive team.
  • Develop and evaluate business cases and ROI analyses for strategic investments, partnering closely with cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, compelling financial materials for the Board of Directors and executive leadership.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and strategic alignment in all executive and board‑level financial communications.
  • Partner with Investor Relations, Corporate Strategy, and Communications to align financial messaging and presentation standards.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models supporting capital allocation, scenario planning, and long‑range forecasting.
  • Analyze enterprise‑wide performance trends, KPIs, and key business drivers to inform strategic decision‑making.
  • Lead preparation of quarterly and annual cash flow forecasts, enhancing transparency and forecasting accuracy.
  • Champion finance transformation initiatives, including technology enablement, advanced analytics, and process modernization.
  • Implement tools, dashboards, and automation to streamline reporting and enable real‑time performance visibility.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top finance talent while building a high‑performing, future‑ready FP&A organization.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and strategic partnership across the finance function.
The Candidate Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA and/or CFA strongly preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance or FP&A, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven success leading enterprise‑wide planning, forecasting, and performance management in complex organizations.
  • Deep expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, scenario analysis, and executive‑level reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial data into clear strategic insights for senior leaders and boards.
  • Experience supporting board‑level reporting, investor relations activities, and M&A evaluation.
  • Strong people leader with a track record of building, mentoring, and leading high‑performing teams.
  • Agile, adaptable, and solutions‑oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and transformation.
