This role supports a high-volume operations environment and is ideal for a driven, high-energy Financial Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on setting. The position reports directly to the Controller and works closely with both operational and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities for Financial Analyst- Serve as the lead financial partner for operational cost systems.
- Analyze financial and operational performance, providing insights to leadership.
- Track and reconcile monthly accounts receivable issues.
- Support month-end close and reporting, including account reconciliations and coordination of closing entries across multiple locations.
- Own and execute daily reporting processes.
- Provide capital expenditure and fixed asset support.
- Analyze site-level spending and lead spend management initiatives.
- Extract data and develop financial and operational reports.
- Perform financial analysis and process improvement for special projects as needed.
- Prepare annual and quarterly corporate tax reporting.
- Deliver ad hoc reporting and analysis to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements related to internal controls.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Authorization to work in the United States is required; sponsorship is not available.
- Experience working in the manufacturing industry
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior financial experience in a production or operations-focused environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- MBA from an accredited institution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Experience querying databases and working with large data sets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with cost accounting concepts and practices.
