Financial Relationship Banker; Standish, MI

Overview

A Relationship Banker plays a key role in looking out for our consumer and business customers.

• Providing excellent customer service and effectively resolving customer issues.
• Proactively identifying opportunities to grow customer relationships through pre‑set appointments, Centers of Influence, a disciplined sales process, new customer follow‑up program, and sourcing referrals from customers, bank colleagues and partners.
• Educating and referring customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong internal partnerships.
• Educating customers on how to optimize their use of bank technology (online, mobile, and ATM banking).
• Maintaining knowledge of all products, services, technology and policies.
• Adhering to all operational, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Demonstrating acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, communication and presentation.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of customer service and sales experience in banking, financial services or goal‑driven retail sales (military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs or similar role is acceptable).
• 1 year of experience with consumer and business deposit products or lending knowledge, or business‑to‑business sales experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
