A large, publicly traded global manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial analysis and decision support across consolidated and regional business unit results, forecasts, and operating plans.
This is a visible, high-impact role partnering directly with senior commercial and finance leadership — ideal for a sharp, self-starting analyst who thrives in a fast-paced, decentralized environment and enjoys turning complex data into clear business insights.
What You'll Do:- Analyze financial plan data to identify potential risks and opportunities and present findings with proposed actions to senior management
- Provide qualitative and quantitative economic assessments on key business initiatives including IRR and Economic Value Added (EVA) valuations
- Support all financial planning activities including monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-range planning cycles
- Analyze complex financial scenarios to provide detailed insight into business drivers and value creation opportunities — including gathering and interpreting operational, logistics, and system data
- Support the preparation of financial and operational reports and analysis to assist business decision-making
- Provide corporate finance with information necessary to support enterprise-level analysis and benchmarking initiatives
- Support commercial analytics, reporting, and price and volume benchmarking activities
- Assist with the compilation of information required for internal and external quarterly and annual reporting requirements
- Liaise with and challenge regional teams to validate accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Bachelor's degree required;
Master's degree preferred, with emphasis in Accounting or Finance - 3+ years of experience in finance and/or accounting
Advanced Excel skills required; SAP and SAC experience a plus - Experience in a large, decentralized manufacturing environment with US GAAP/SOX reporting a strong plus
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — verbal and written
- Self-starting, flexible, and comfortable making independent decisions in a fast-paced environment
