Job Description Summary
Dauch is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team in Three Rivers, MI. This is a fully onsite role. The role supports accounting activities, financial record keeping, month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing, foreign exchange, cash management, tax, audit work papers, and creates financial performance reports. The candidate will assist in forecasts, budgets, and strategic planning, communicate financial data to other departments, and maintain GAAP compliance.
- General day‑to‑day reporting and accounting for Dauch's Three Rivers Manufacturing Facility (TRMF).
- Generate and assure accuracy of month‑end close data, including financial statement reports, journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support development of financial reporting requirements using the corporate system to acquire and analyze transactional data and trends.
- Assist in developing the monthly forecast, annual budget, and semi‑annual Five‑Year Strategic Plan.
- Assist operating departments in analysis, communication, and interpretation of operating and financial data.
- Maintain frequent contact with others outside the work group.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1‑3 years of experience in accounting and/or finance in an automotive manufacturing environment preferred.
- Understanding of financial systems.
- Excellent computer skills; experienced with Microsoft Office, especially basic functions in Microsoft Excel.
- Proven analytical ability and willingness to learn and adapt.
