Responsibilities
- Facilitate growth through business development and management of key client relationships.
- Maintain an outstanding record of significant revenue generation from sales and syndications.
- Act as an escalation point for complex client issues, resolving conflicts and maintaining strong relationships.
- Lead the structuring of high‑value, complex deals and credit approvals, ensuring alignment with client needs.
- Oversee credit approvals and drive pricing coordination, acting as the primary client advocate.
- Drive negotiations for high‑value, complex transactions ensuring deals meet client needs.
- Manage high‑value client portfolios, driving cross‑selling, retention and profitability.
- Implement cross‑selling initiatives, driving client engagement and converting opportunities into sales.
- Lead market‑coverage strategies to expand portfolios, identify opportunities and align with business goals.
- Represent the bank at industry forums, leveraging insights on trends, competition and emerging products to drive decision‑making.
- Engage with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to align strategies, address client needs and drive holistic solutions.
- Deliver reports to leadership on team performance, client satisfaction, market trends and strategic initiatives.
- Drive strategic advisory on loan products, rates, terms and collateral requirements, ensuring tailored solutions.
- Build and maintain strong long‑term relationships with high‑value clients, providing strategic advice.
- Structure deals, secure credit approvals, negotiate high‑value transactions and identify cross‑selling opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, client industry developments and competitive positioning to inform strategies.
- Work closely with internal teams to define products, solutions and strategies best fitting client needs.
- Identify share‑of‑wallet opportunities.
- Leverage analysis tools to nurture and grow portfolios exceeding ROE thresholds and evaluate client returns.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls and compliance policies in all relationship management activities.
- Operate at a group/enterprise level, serving as a specialist resource to senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Apply expertise creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and solve complex, non‑routine problems.
- Implement changes in response to shifting trends.
- Take measured risks while protecting the bank by applying the Risk Management Framework in line with the bank’s risk appetite and policy documents.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Relationship Management, Account Management or Portfolio Management in a corporate or similar banking environment with sales metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Business Administration, Finance and Accounting preferred (other related disciplines or commensurate experience considered). - Credit Qualification and associated credit knowledge and skills according to credit portfolio requirements if the role is credit‑qualifiable.
- Advanced proficiency in Project Management, Change Management, Product Knowledge, Regulatory Compliance, Deal Structuring, Portfolio Management, Credit Risk Assessment, Customer Service, Stakeholder Management, Negotiation and Customer Relationship Building.
- Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience and industry knowledge.

Salaries may vary based on location, skills, experience, education and qualifications, and may include a commission structure. For commission roles, the listed salary represents the expected target for the first year.
