Senior Relationship Advisor II, Wealth Management (OH)

This role manages complex wealth management high net worth (HNW) and ultra-high net worth (UHNW) client relationships and provides high‑quality fiduciary and administrative services.

Responsibilities
  • Assume primary responsibility for overall client satisfaction by collaborating with the service team, appropriate NT resources, and client professional advisers to ensure timely delivery of exceptional service.
  • Manage the assigned account base of wealth‑management clients, working with the client‑service team, clients and their advisers to develop a thorough understanding of client needs and goals.
  • Lead client conversations for life‑driven wealth management, providing proactive advice on NT’s products and services, emerging issues, regulatory and tax changes, and appropriate actions for the client.
  • Explain complex concepts to clients in a thoughtful way using non‑technical terminology and offer advisory solutions.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of NT resources and leverage fiduciary knowledge, experience, and NT resources to identify opportunities for relationship enhancement.
  • Deliver proactive client service with responsiveness, diplomacy and tact, using written and verbal communication at suitable frequency.
  • Build and maintain knowledge of NT fiduciary standards and practices, applying fiduciary judgment to client relationships.
  • Recognize fiduciary risk issues and seek appropriate resolution.
  • Cultivate relationships with referral sources and external professional advisers to build business; identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Participate in community and professional organizations representing NT, and identify opportunities to showcase NT expertise and thought leadership.
  • Travel to meet with clients where appropriate, considering revenue, new business opportunities or servicing requirements.
  • Teach and mentor less experienced partners, providing leadership on fiduciary projects and committees.
  • Work collaboratively with internal partners and external advisers in identifying client needs and goals and developing advice‑driven solutions for clients.
  • Implement complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues.
Qualifications
  • 12–15 years’ experience as a relationship manager in trust administration, estate administration, estate planning, or related fields.
  • Experience working with high net‑worth (HNW) and ultra‑high net‑worth (UHNW) clients preferred.
  • Ability to manage a complex portfolio of over one million and/or one billion in assets under management.
  • Knowledge of fiduciary and financial products and services.
  • Technical knowledge of investments, tax, legal and operations.
  • Knowledge of fiduciary standards, principles and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Strong skills in negotiating, problem solving, delegating, leadership and sales.
  • Professional designations desirable: JD, CFP, CPWA or other related credentials.
  • Leadership and organizational skills to determine business‑unit goals, allocate resources, and develop staff skills.
