Police Officer – City of Harbor Springs

The City of Harbor Springs is accepting resumes for the Fulltime Police Officer position in the Harbor Springs Police Department.

• Engage in foot patrol, bicycle patrol, and motor vehicle patrol on 12‑hour shifts.
• Provide community‑oriented policing and problem solving.

• MCOLES licensed or licensable at the time of appointment.
• Minimum 18 years of age and a High School Diploma.
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent college credit hours from an accredited institution desirable.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and a professional image.
• Physical fitness, drug test, psychological exam, and thorough background investigation required.

• Salary range: $58,697 to $77,688, depending on experience.
