Position: Departmental Manager 15 / IOD / Regional Communication Centers Section
Location: Dimondale

This is a civilian position that serves as the manager of the Regional Communication Centers Section. The section manager provides direct management and administrative guidance to personnel working within the Regional Communication Centers(RCC). This position provides supervisory oversight to the managers of the Northern Regional Communication Centers and Southern Regional Communication Centers units as well as activities at four RCCs, this includes direct dispatch and support to field personnel, specialty teams, and contracted 9-1-1 services.

Duties include oversight of budgets, personnel management and administration, and supervision of statewide services and contracts. This position is required to perform all duties in a bias free manner.

Education
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.

Experience
Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level.

This position requires passing a pre-employment screening, including passing a drug screen, criminal history background check, and a fingerprint check by the Michigan State Police.
