We’re partnering with a school district in Washtenaw County, Michigan to hire a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2025–2026 school year. This role focuses on district-wide support and compensatory services, and the district will consider full-time or part-time candidates.
Contracts will be issued once the right candidate is identified.
The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide direct speech-language services to students requiring compensatory services, supporting communication needs that impact educational access and success. The SLP will collaborate with district teams, educators, and families to deliver high-quality services and ensure compliance with IEP requirements across school sites.
- Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Hours: Full-time or part-time (flexible based on candidate availability)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday; specific days/hours are flexible

- School Year: 2025–2026
- Start Date: ASAP
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students receiving compensatory services.
- Conduct assessments and review existing evaluation data to determine service needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with IEP goals and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with district administrators, teachers, and special education teams to coordinate services.
- Maintain accurate documentation, service logs, and progress reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate student progress to stakeholders.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license through MiPLUS (required).
- Experience providing school-based speech services preferred.
- Familiarity with compensatory service delivery models strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
