Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Friday, 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM;
Saturday-Tuesday, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating night shifts, 7 on/7 off (mix of 8- and 12-hour shifts; alternating 24-hour and 48-hour weeks)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $68 per hour

• Perform high-quality CT studies following protocols and radiologist instruction
• Tailor exams based on patient history and imaging goals to capture diagnostic images
• Administer IV and oral contrast per protocol and monitor patients throughout procedures
• Provide radiation protection using shielding and collimation and document appropriately
• Assist the radiologist with sterile procedures and practice sterile technique
• Obtain vital signs, perform venipuncture, and document all pertinent patient data
• Identify and respond to allergic reactions or urgent medical conditions and assist in treatment
• Maintain accurate records in Epic EMR and communicate findings to the care team

• Active CT Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - required
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification - required
• Minimum 2 years of CT imaging experience - required
• Experience with Toshiba or Canon CT scanners highly preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Travel assignment experience preferred
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years - required at submission
• Current skills checklist (pertinent to CT) within one year - required at submission
• Must provide permanent address (facility will not consider local candidates within a 50-mile radius)

• Strong knowledge of CT and radiographic imaging techniques
• Proficient in IV contrast administration and patient monitoring
• Skilled in venipuncture and sterile technique
• Solid understanding of radiation safety and protection practices
• Ability to recognize normal versus abnormal anatomy on CT exams
• Comfortable assisting physicians in image-guided and sterile procedures
• Familiarity with Toshiba and Canon CT platforms and Epic EMR workflows
• Excellent patient care, communication, and documentation skills
