Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Lead Pharmacy Technician for role with Island Compounding Pharamcy based in Grosse Ile, MI. The Lead Pharmacy Technician will manage daily pharmacy operations, support the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions, implement effective inventory control procedures, and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations. Responsibilities include supervising pharmacy technicians, maintaining a high standard of customer service, and ensuring that prescriptions and products are handled with accuracy and efficiency.

The role also involves consistent collaboration with the pharmacy team to optimize processes and provide excellent patient care.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Prescription processing and comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy practices
  • Proficiency with Inventory Control and Pharmacy systems
  • Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction
  • Familiarity with leading and mentoring Pharmacy Technicians
  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or equivalent is a plus
  • Understanding of pharmacy regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
