Full Time. Days. Full Benefits. Aspire Rural Health System is hiring an Occupational Health Certified Medical Assistant to support our occupational health services and outreach programs. We are seeking a detail‑oriented, positive, and motivated individual to join our dedicated healthcare team, committed to delivering high-quality service to employer partners, employees, and the communities we serve while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and professionalism.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn DOT drug and alcohol testing regulations, FMCSA reporting, and occupational health workflows
  • CMA, CCMA, or RMA is preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also functioning independently
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document, report, and maintain confidential records
  • Positive, flexible team player who supports coworkers, contributes to a collaborative work environment, and is willing to travel to employer sites for onsite clinics and outreach programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the mission of Aspire – Rural Health System by assisting with occupational health operations while following established policies, quality, safety, and infection control standards. Manage DOT drug and alcohol testing processes, including employer coordination, regulatory compliance, testing, reporting, record maintenance, billing accuracy, and FMCSA reporting. Assist with MRO review, collector training, workers’ compensation scheduling, and occupational health outreach programs, including onsite employer clinics, health fairs, flu vaccinations, and wellness initiatives while maintaining patient confidentiality.
