Join Our Team as a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist!
Schedule:
Three (3) shifts per calendar month | Regularly covering weekend shifts is expected | Two (2) holidays per year.

Compensation: $46.18 - $51.74 / hour
What You’ll Do in This RoleThe Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats individuals with speech, language, voice, and fluency impairments as part of in-house rehab services in SNF, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living.
Key Responsibilities- Perform hearing and/or speech and language examinations.
- Evaluate hearing and/or speech and language test results.
- Evaluate barium swallow, other test results, and overall medical background.
- Diagnose patients and formulate treatment plans.
- Educate patients and family members about various communication methods to cope with impairment.
- Write reports and maintain client information.
- Perform administrative responsibilities: coordinate paperwork, write lesson plans, schedule case management activities, and maintain records for administrative, billing and caseload purposes.
- Develop individual and/or group activities and/or programs.
- Participate in planning and implementing IEP meetings, in-service meetings, or intervention assistance team meetings.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise- Graduate of an accredited Therapy program.
- Current Speech Therapist state license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Position requires the ability to lift and move objects, weighing up to 35 pounds without assistance.
- 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
