We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team at Portland Family Chiropractic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques and a passion for helping clients achieve their wellness goals. This role involves assessing patient needs, providing therapeutic massage treatments, and ensuring a positive experience for all clients. Start as part-time with the opportunity to grow into full-time.

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Perform a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to address pain management and promote relaxation.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively target areas of tension and discomfort.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments administered and client progress.
• Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client inquiries or concerns.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as necessary to support patient care.
• Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards within the treatment area.

• Valid massage therapy license in accordance with state regulations.
• Proficiency in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to massage therapy.
• Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs effectively.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about industry trends.
• Must be willing to become credentialed with the VA.
