- Assess, develop, and direct the overall nutrition plan of care for each guest.
- Collaborate with and encourage guests and families to participate in the development of care plans.
- Stay current on emerging trends and new research related to dietetics.
- Educate the culinary staff on human nutrition and culinary service topics.
- Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition (must be accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics).
- Current registration status in Michigan.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide nutrition services appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents.
- Knowledgeable of dietary practices, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines governing dietary functions in nursing care facilities.
