- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Licensure in the State of Michigan as a Pharmacy Technician or eligibility for the Pharmacy Technician Program.
- SRS Pharmacy Software experience.
- Strong ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Compliance with all applicable company policies, procedures, and patient care protocols.
- Adherence to current government regulations and professional standards for patient care.
- Consistently completes annual online education requirements by the expected deadline.
- Commitment to ethical practices by following the company's code of conduct and applicable laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated honesty, integrity, and behaviors aligned with company standards for compliance and business matters.
- Practical verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in basic computer programs and related technology, with knowledge of pharmacy software preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- Ability to focus on details and thoroughly complete work tasks.
- Ability to operate general office equipment, including telephones and copiers.
- Team-oriented mindset with openness to others' views, willingness to give and receive feedback, and a focus on building a positive work environment.
As a Pharmacy Technician, your day begins with selecting and packaging medications accurately and carefully. You fill unit dose (UD) cards, ensure prescriptions are correctly counted and labeled, and precisely handle compliance packaging and bulk item labeling. Attention to detail is key as you verify NDCs, expiration dates, and patient bags. You're always ready to assist the dailies department when needed, maintaining a clean workspace and following protocols.
