Full-Time (Days) | Mon-Fri & Every Other Weekend | 1st shift, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years’ experience in housekeeping or related service industry preferred
  • Supervision / leadership experience needed
  • Must be able to prioritize work activities, demonstrate flexibility, and function as a team player
  • Must be flexible and available when emergency situations require non-standard staffing
Responsibilities
  • Conduct beginning and ending shift meetings with the department along with delegating job duties
  • Conduct interviews, hire staff members, and provide orientation and training to new employees
  • Coordinate the scheduling of department employees with the lead’s input
  • Inspect work performed in housekeeping and laundry to ensure it meets specifications and established standards while maintaining communication with staff members to promote adherence to processes and effective performance
  • Perform a variety of housekeeping, cleaning and disinfecting services in a manner that maintains high standards
  • Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and infection control
  • Move furniture and other heavy objects for routine & non-routine cleaning and when assisting in patient moves
  • Use equipment properly and arrange for repairs when needed
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and ensure the privacy and confidentiality of protected health information at all times
