Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program:
Staffency Program - Aspirus.

Required Skills/

Experience:

Basic Respiratory Therapies, Arterial Blood Gas Draw, Both Non-invasive and invasive Ventilator Management, Assess and Treat Protocol experience.

Required Credentials:
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Shift & Scheduling:

• On Call/Call-Back:
  Two-three nights of call per week at Iron River. No on call requirement if needed at Ironwood
• Weekend/Holiday:
  Every other weekend, every other holiday

Floating Requirements:
May float throughout the hospital as needed. May float to Aspirus Ironwood if staffing needs require.

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

4 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
