Shift: Day Shift

Location: Chelsea, MI

Pay: $27.40 to $33.13 per hour based upon applicable experience + shift premiums (when working afternoons, overnights and weekends)

Utilizes the principles and practices of surgical asepsis in the preparation of surgical instruments and supplies, maintaining a sterile field and passing instruments to surgeons within the sterile field. Anticipates the needs of the surgeon by demonstrating knowledge of surgical procedures and the anatomy and physiology of the human body.

On call required: must be within 45 minutes of the hospital when on call.

• Graduation from a certified surgical technologist program
• Surgical Technologist Certification is required within six months of employment
