McLaren Health Care - - Responsibilities:
Perform proper specimen collection including blood and non-blood specimens with patient preparation, labeling, handling, preservation, processing, transportation, and storage;
Complete specimen handling and processing including centrifuging tubes and aliquoting;
Arrange for specimen transport according to established procedures;
Collect, verify, and process patient registration data and test orders into hospital information system and laboratory information system; understand insurance plans;
Adhere to compliance policies including presenting Advance Beneficiary Notice of non-coverage prior to outpatient services
