Position: Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Lawrence, MI
Location: Lawrence

Step into an engaging role supporting students' communication growth in a vibrant school setting for the  academic year. Work alongside dedicated educators providing both direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to elementary, middle, and high school students. This full-year contract offers a chance to make a lasting difference while cultivating your expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology.

Enjoy a dynamic Monday through Friday schedule from 7:45am to 3:30pm, following a prorated calendar of 187 contract days that aligns with the school year. If you thrive in this environment and make meaningful connections, continuation for the next academic year is possible.

Qualifications & Desired Experience
  • Active or eligibility for SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Current state Speech-Language Pathology licensure or ability to obtain prior to start
  • Experience working in school settings, with knowledge of pediatric and adolescent speech/language needs
  • Ability to provide both direct therapy and consultative support for students and staff
  • Compassionate communication skills with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational abilities, especially with managing diverse caseloads across age groups
Responsibilities
  • Provide speech-language therapy and evaluations for elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Deliver both direct therapy and consultation services to a caseload of 52 students
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to develop IEPs and implement intervention
  • Document progress, maintain compliance, and contribute to a positive school environment
  • Serve as a resource for communication strategies and support for students and staff alike
