** Essential functions
*** The following list is a summary of the key functions of the job and may not be inclusive of all duties assigned*.
* Gather and record patients' chief complaints while capturing a thorough ocular and medical history, ensuring a smooth start to their care journey.
* Guide patients through their tests, explaining the purpose of each procedure and what to expect, so they feel informed and at ease.
* Administer eye drops and medications as prescribed, playing a key role in preparing patients for their provider's care.
* Perform precise and consistent documentation of key measurements and tests using a variety of tools and machines, including Visual Acuity, ARK, Lensometry, Visual Fields, OCT, IOL Master/A-scan, and more.
* Support efficient patient flow, seeing patients promptly and stepping in to assist other clinic areas when needed, contributing to seamless operations.
* Maintain a clean and stocked clinic, ensuring every area is ready for patient care and up to the highest standards.
* Monitor and report equipment issues to the Clinical Manager, ensuring tools remain in top condition for optimal patient outcomes.
* Adapt to new technologies, taking on additional tasks specific to your provider’s needs as advancements arise, making you a key player in innovative eye care.

** Education and experience
*** Educational requirements that are job-related and consistent with business necessity
** High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
* OMA Certification required after 90 days of employment
