McLaren Health Care -  - Responsibilities:
Receives and processes complete patient registration data accurately and performs online insurance verification in compliance with HIPAA and regulations.;
Maintains excellent customer service and assists patients with the admission/registration process.;
Coordinates admission and transfer of patients by communicating with the Administrative Nursing Supervisor and other departments.;
Contacts physicians and offices to obtain orders that meet medical necessity and CMS guidelines using online medical necessity tools.;
Collects, verifies, and records patient demographics and insurance data prior to service; obtains signatures on registration and insurance forms; prepares and audits patient records for completeness.
