Internship Opportunities

Wellvance is committed to providing high‑quality, cost‑effective public mental health services to individuals in Iosco, Ogemaw, and Oscoda counties, supporting people with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities, Serious Persistent Mental Illness, and Serious Emotional Disturbance.

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Social Work and LPC programs
• Bachelor’s/Master’s Case Management (Human Services fields)

• Must be actively enrolled in an academic program related to the internship
• Must successfully pass all required background clearances

• Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule and travel throughout the service area and, at times, other regions of the state.
• Applicants must possess a valid Michigan driver’s license, required vehicle insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Individuals with lived experience of mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders are encouraged to apply.
