This Departmental Analyst 9 position with the Michigan State Police's Impaired Driving Unit involves managing grants, planning and implementing statewide impaired driving programs, and coordinating with state and local agencies. The role supports the Office of Highway Safety Planning and addresses impaired driving prevention across Michigan at local, regional, state, and national levels.
Key qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in any major (or equivalent military experience)
- Two years of professional experience including one year at intermediate analyst level
- Experience with program planning, implementation, and evaluation at local, state, or federal level
- Pass pre-employment screening including drug screen, criminal background check, and fingerprint check
- Ability to function in a bias‑free manner and treat all persons with dignity and respect
