Patient Services Representative Associate

Corewell Health -  - Responsibilities:
Serve as a concierge and greet patients/visitors;
Answer practice phone calls and schedule patient appointments using a decision tree where applicable;
Register patients and verify demographic and insurance information; assist with self-registration;
Check-out patients and schedule follow-up appointments;
Maintain patient medical records and upload documents into the EMR (EPIC);
Document patient calls in the electronic health record; participate in safety initiatives and risk mitigation;
Perform clerical tasks such as ordering supplies, sorting mail, and generating patient letters;
Identify and remind patients of health maintenance gaps
