What You'll Do

• Evaluate patient functions through formal and informal testing measures
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and patient needs
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about treatment options and prognosis
• Manage and supervise occupational therapy assistants, aides, and students
• Reassess and update treatment plans regularly in collaboration with physicians
• Recommend adaptive equipment and assist with securing necessary items
• Document all care activities in compliance with policies and regulatory standards
• Promote patient safety, quality care, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Support community outreach and occupational therapy advocacy efforts

What You Need

• Valid Michigan Occupational Therapist license
• Prior experience in outpatient settings preferred
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and documentation practices

• Certification in relevant therapeutic techniques
• Experience supervising staff and students
