Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to provide essential care and support to our clients in Petersburg, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence.

• Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
• Assist with medication reminders and basic health monitoring.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition.

• Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a related caregiving role is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and assist clients with mobility challenges.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are an asset.
• Must pass background checks.

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from $14.00 to $19.00 per hour.
