_ A Day in the Life
_
- A high skilled Biomed with 4 years’ experience and CBET or CHTM certification. Under minimal supervision, HTM Tech III’s will provide expert-level experience in the repair, calibration, and maintenance of medical equipment. BMET III’s are expected to be proficient in CMMS equipment data reporting and management.
Qualifications _ What’s Required
_
- Associate’s degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Electronics Technology or military trained in biomedical equipment service
- 4 years experience in healthcare biomedical equipment repair and calibration
- Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) - Must be from the International Certification Commission
* If no CBET certification at time of hire, must obtain certification within 1-year of hire.
Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella. MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
