McLaren Health Care - - Responsibilities:
Performs proper specimen collection, including patient preparation, labeling, handling, preservation or fixation, processing or preparation, transportation, and storage of specimens;
Completes specimen handling and processing including centrifuging tubes and aliquoting;
Arranges for specimen transport using established procedure;
Collects, verifies, and processes patient registration data and test orders into hospital information systems;
Adheres to Compliance policies including presenting Advance Beneficiary Notice (ABN) of non-coverage prior to outpatient services
