McLaren Health Care - - Responsibilities:
Perform proper specimen collection (blood and non-blood), including patient preparation, labeling, handling, preservation or fixation, processing or preparation, transportation, and storage of specimens;
Complete specimen handling and processing including centrifuging tubes and aliquoting;
Arrange for specimen transport using established procedures;
Collect, verify, and process patient registration data and test orders into hospital information system/laboratory information system;
Present Advance Beneficiary Notice (ABN) of non-coverage prior to delivery of outpatient services
