Work Schedule and Shift Premiums

7pm-7am | 3 days (36 hours)/week including every other weekend

2nd shift premium is $2.00/hour

3rd shift premium is $3.05/hour

Weekend premium is an additional $2.00/hour

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required from an accredited institution

Current Michigan Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA), otherwise must obtain one within 4 months of hire, may be eligible to have this paid for by the hospital

BLS, ACLS, TEAM certifications (available through Hillsdale Hospital)

Responsibilities

Must have knowledge of patient's condition and plan of care and assist under direction of an RN

May assist patients with activities of daily living

Maintain accurate records within the chart - graphics, I&Os, evening and weekend activity, showers, etc.

Collect patient specimens per protocol

Perform clerical duties related to admissions, discharges, transfers, etc. Input computer data appropriately. Answer the telephone in a friendly manner, take messages, and direct calls
