Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Transport patients to and from medical appointments, therapies, and social activities in a safe and timely manner
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
• Ensure patient safety and well-being during transportation, providing emotional support as needed
• Maintain accurate records of patient transportation, including mileage logs, passenger manifests, and incident reports
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient transportation and ensure seamless clinical services
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CDL with a commercial driver's license (Class A or
  
  C) preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role; previous experience in the healthcare industry a plus
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and obtain necessary certifications as required by law
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
• CPR certified
