Patient Care Technician

University of Michigan Health -  - Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the nurse, prioritizes and organizes care of assigned patients, performing basic nurse’s aide skills as outlined in orientation, competencies, policy and procedures.;
Documents on patient’s chart, any treatments and pertinent observations. Provides report to team on tasks completed.;
Maintains a clean, safe and orderly unit.;
Emergency care/safety:
Performs according to procedure in all hospital emergency situations.;
Provides and ensures safe and secure environment for the patient; demonstrates professionalism and courtesy at all times.
