We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide occupational therapy services within a skilled home care setting.
Responsibilities include:assisting the occupational therapist with patient evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, preparing clinical and progress notes, educating patients and families on equipment and therapy programs, observing and reporting patient condition changes, and participating in case conferences and team communication to ensure quality care.
Qualifications:current licensure as a COTA in Michigan, CPR certification, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
Skills and qualities:strong communication, ability to build rapport with clients and families, effective teamwork, and attention to patient progress and safety.
This role involves collaborative care delivery and requires a dedicated, professional approach to patient rehabilitation in a home environment.
