Job DescriptionReady to make a real difference in patients' lives? As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll work alongside our registered pharmacists to keep our Outpatient Pharmacy Support Center running smoothly! Here's what you'll be doing:
- Process & Distribute:
Handle prescription distribution and processing with precision, ensuring every medication gets to the right patient - Data Entry Wizard:
Enter prescription information into our computer systems—keeping everything organized and accurate - Billing & Admin:
Manage billings and maintain detailed files to keep our records in tip-top shape - Payment Processing:
Collect payments for prescriptions and other purchases with a friendly, professional approach - Inventory Management:
Stock and organize our medication inventory, ensuring we're always well-supplied - Customer Interaction:
Engage with patients and the public in a helpful, courteous manner—you'll be a key part of their pharmacy experience - Team Support:
Collaborate with and report to our pharmacists, supporting their mission to provide excellent patient care
All work performed under the supervision of a licensed registered pharmacist.
QualificationsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. Minimum of six (6) months of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES
REQUIRED:
Requires valid State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician license.
