The Staff Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care, including dispensing prescriptions, counseling patients on healthcare needs, and administering immunizations. This position emphasizes patient advocacy, community engagement, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately process and dispense prescriptions.
- Counsel customers on medication and health concerns.
- Administer immunizations and participate in wellness programs.
- Guide and model excellent customer service practices for pharmacy staff.
- Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations, including HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, with active pharmacy license.
- Completion of accredited immunization training.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and best practices.
- Strong relationship-building skills with customers and colleagues.
- Adaptability to diverse medical needs and commitment to community involvement.
