Location:You will play a key role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children, young people and their families across Southern Tasmania.
The TeamThe Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) are a tertiary level public multidisciplinary mental health service providing services to children and young people and their families living in the community with a mental illness.
The RoleJoin our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CYMHS) and play a key role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children, young people and their families across Southern Tasmania. Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist assessment, treatment and case management services, while contributing to quality mental health outcomes and evidence-based care.
You will need- Demonstrated experience in assessing and treating children and young people with mental health concerns, preferably with at least two years' post-graduate clinical experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and build relationships with families and external agencies
- A commitment to professional development, quality improvement, and delivering evidence-based, child-centred mental health care.

Permanent, part time, day worker position, working 45.6 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

$117,272 to $126,182 pro rata per annum + our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2025
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
- Please note that access to salaries beyond $123,487 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme
