Cook/Dietary Position at Middle River Health and Rehab

We are seeking a skilled Cook/Dietary professional to join our team at Middle River Health and Rehab, a leading provider of skilled nursing services in South Range, WI. As a key member of our dietary team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by preparing delicious and nutritious meals.

As a Cook/Dietary, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our residents, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. This is a full-time position that requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. • Prepare and serve meals to residents, including special diets and requests

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including equipment, utensils, and storage areas

• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations

• Receive and stock inventory of food and supplies

• Collaborate with dietary team to plan and prepare menus

• Monitor and control food costs, waste, and inventory levels

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and other staff members

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment
