Role Overview

As a Patient Service Representative, you
¿ ll be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing essential administrative and clerical support in a fast-paced medical setting. Your role is critical in ensuring smooth patient experiences, from check-in to appointment scheduling, while maintaining accurate records and supporting daily operations.

What You Will Do

  • Greet patients and visitors, check patients in and out, and gather necessary documentation.
  • Verify and enter patient demographic information accurately.
  • Obtain and verify insurance authorizations and precertifications.
  • Complete medical record release requests and schedule/confirm patient appointments.
  • Enter, review, and submit charges for patient procedures and services daily.
  • Collect co-payments and reconcile daily reports and deposits for accuracy.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous medical office front desk experience.
