Pay Range: $19.34 to $22.48/hour (adjusted for relevant education and experience)

Full Time Availability Required (Restrictions available for class hours)

Behavior Analysis Support Specialist (BASS) Job Specifics:
  • Provide engaging, one-on-one or small-group behavioral intervention sessions for individuals ages 12 months to 21 years
  • Implement individualized treatment plans to teach early learning, social, communication, and academic skills
  • Accurately implement and supervise implementation of behavior intervention plans
  • Teach and assist with daily living and self-care skills as needed
  • Assist BCBAs with requested tasks and help oversee treatment plan delivery by Outpatient Service Technicians (RBTs)
  • Complete and track required restricted and unrestricted hours according to BACB guidelines
  • Meet bi-weekly with a BCBA for formal supervision
  • Support ongoing center research projects and data presentation preparation
  • Create a safe, respectful, and encouraging environment for learning
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation and following company best practices
  • Transport individuals served as necessary if categorized as a company “driver”
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all restricted information, data, and reports
  • Uphold company policies and the BACB ethical guidelines
  • Comply with all laws and regulations regarding reporting suspected abuse and neglect of vulnerable persons

  • Maintain the confidentiality of all restricted information, data, and reports
Job Qualifications :
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Enrollment in approved Behavior Analysis program or actively accruing supervision hours to complete BCaBA or BCBA certification per the BACB’s guidelines
  • Eligible to begin acquiring BCBA supervision hours within 30 days of hire
  • In good standing with the BACB for any active certifications (BCaBA or RBT)
  • Ability to achieve and maintain required training and certification
  • Ability to pass background check screening and meet contractual standards
  • Ability to arrive on time and as scheduled to the work site
  • Ability to assist with a wide array of physical and behavioral needs
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to operate basic appliances and office equipment
  • Ability to work independently in the absence of direct supervision
  • Possess excellent verbal/written communication skills and ability to appropriately communicate to families and caregivers of children
Preferred :
  • Six months experience as a Registered Behavior Technician preferred.
  • Approved driver status as determined by ROI.
  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Experience working with an electronic data collection/electronic medical record system
