The Orchards at Douglas Cove Village is a small, home-like community offering assisted living, skilled nursing rehabilitation, long-term care, and secured memory care — all under one roof. Located in the heart of beautiful Douglas, Michigan
, we’re less than a mile from the lake and within walking distance of downtown Douglas and Saugatuck.

We are currently seeking Medication Technicians (Med Techs) who enjoy working with seniors and want to be part of a close-knit, supportive team.

Schedule Options
  • Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available

  • Day and Night shifts

What You’ll Do

As an Assisted Living Medication Technician at The Orchards at Douglas Cove, you’ll support resident health and well-being by:

  • Administering medications and assisting with treatments according to provider orders

  • Supervising residents who self-administer medications while following all company and regulatory guidelines

  • Observing residents and reporting any changes in physical condition or behavior

  • Maintaining accurate resident records related to medication distribution, activities, incidents, and observations

  • Providing calm, compassionate support in a respectful, resident-centered environment

    Providing help and care for activities of daily living (i.e. showering/bathing, dressing, toileting, cueing, etc based on an individuals' needs)

What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED

  • One year of related experience and/or training (or equivalent education/experience)

  • The Orchards at Douglas Cove Village utilize the Michigan Center for Assisted Living Medication Administration program for education and re-educating new employees

  • Previous experience working with older adults preferred

  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

  • A genuine enjoyment of working with the senior population
