The Orchards at Douglas Cove is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Douglas, MI

Pay starts at $30.00 per hour and increases based on experience.
About the Role:As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and education. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and assessments
- Conducting therapy sessions, including exercise and stretching programs
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Providing education and support to patients and their families
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
- Physical Therapy Assistant:
Assist physical therapists with patient care and treatment plans - Patient Communication:
Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure understanding and compliance with treatment plans - Documentation:
Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, as required - Team
Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes - Safety and Infection Control:
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff, adhering to infection control protocols and guidelines - Professional Development:
Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices
