• Conducts individual, group and family therapy while maintaining a normal caseload.
• Completes psychosocial assessments, daily case notes, treatment planning and updates while working with the multi-disciplinary team.
• Establishes therapeutic relationship with patients and helps the patients respond constructively to treatment.
• Assists patients in their adjustments throughout treatment course.
• Interprets psychiatric treatment to the patient's family where appropriate.
• Helps reduce fear and other obstructive behavior towards the acceptance of psychiatric care and treatment continuation.
• Works with the hospital team from patient admission to discharge.
• Responsible for maintaining up to date records on the patient.

• MA or MS degree in Social Work.
• Kentucky licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW).
• 2+ years of supervised post degree work as a therapist specific to the population served by facility.
• 2+ years prior experience in psychiatric or mental health setting.
• 2+ years of experience in hospitalization program, intensive outpatient program and or outpatient clinic.
• Experience with mental status evaluations, DSM-V diagnosis, intake interviews, treatment plants, prognosis notes preparation, provision of individual and group therapies specific to population served.
