Industrial Onsite Physical Therapist - New Location Opening!

Get out of the clinic and into ergonomics! Doctors of Physical Therapy Onsite is looking for a physical or occupational therapist to partner with a leading American manufacturer in a state-of-the-art industrial setting. Focus is on injury prevention, coaching employees, and industrial testing. We estimate this position to begin early January of 2027. DPT has helped keep thousands of workers safe from injury by providing innovative solutions in the field of environmental health and safety.

No productivity requirements; the focus is on keeping workers healthy

Injury management, screening, and prevention performed in an industrial setting

• A member of a nationwide successful team of industrial therapists

Assess symptoms of musculoskeletal soreness and provide treatment within OSHA First Aid Guidelines

Provide early intervention assessment and care

Coach employees on optimal body mechanics and work postures

Identify and assess ergonomic areas of concern and recommend solutions to lower risk

• Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery

Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based PT/OT care

• Promote clients’ healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination

Consult with safety team, plant management, production supervisors, and other stakeholders

Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques

Skills

• Proven work experience as a physical therapist
